NVE Bank hosted their 4nd Annual Scholarship Reception on June 28, 2011, where they awarded ten $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from the local area.
Additionally, NVE Bank extended their program to seven of the area middle schools with a $500 Savings Product Scholarship.
“It is inspiring to see such involvement in our community in this manner. Thank you so much for your generosity,” noted Northern Valley Demarest High School graduate, Michael Levine.
NVE Bank’s Scholarship Program was commenced to give back to the communities they serve while trying to alleviate the costs associated with a achieving a higher education.
“We are very proud to be a part of this special time in the graduates lives and to be able to give back to the communities we serve,” said Robert Rey, President of NVE Bank.
NVE Bank’s high school scholarship recipients included; Ninva Bekdas -New Milford High School, Shayna Holmes-Teaneck High School, Shira Goldstein-Bergenfield High School, Michael Levine-Northern Valley Demarest High School, Annalise Rodriguez-Leonia High School, Joel Estrada-Academies at Englewood, Shamir Peterkin-Dwight Morrow High School, Sharon Chen-Tenafly High School, Rachel Oates-Cresskill High School and John Thievon-Pascack Valley High School.
